Step 1: Setup Sync, and Categorize Banking Feeds

This may sound a bit complicated so let’s break it down a bit:

A. BANK FEEDS SYNC

  1. Sync bank accounts, credit cards, and PayPal to QBO – only past 90 days by default
  2. Upload older transactions that are not synced automatically

Here are three steps to upload older statements:

  • Get the monthly PDF statements
  • Convert them to CSV
  • Upload to QBO bank feeds

B. CATEGORIZE TRANSACTIONS

  1. Assign the correct Vendor, Category, Tags, and Memo
  2. Bank rules creation
  3. Categorize, Find Match, and Record Transfers
  4. For review tab, Categorized, and Excluded tab
